Mariah Morse, LCSW

My heart is to provide a safe space, unwavering support, and guidance for you or your loved ones. Drawing from a wealth of experience, I have accompanied individuals from all walks of life to growth and healing. I am experienced with a diverse range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, family conflicts, and fostering secure attachments between parents and their children. Whether you seek assistance in mental health/behavioral issues, trauma recovery, or simply need a compassionate companion during life’s ups and downs, I am wholeheartedly prepared to embark on this transformative journey with you.

My areas of focus as a therapist include littles, teens, individual adults of all ages, and family therapy. I’m a trained play therapist, pending the official status as a Registered Play Therapist at the end of 2023. Over the past 10 or 11 years I’ve developed the skills and interventions for working with each of those populations!

Life can get very intense. Sometimes quickly, sometimes it’s a slow burn until you aren’t sure how you arrived to this level of chaos. Therapy isn’t a magic button, but a safe place where you process, receive support, learn new skills, and develop healthier habits over time. Speaking from experience, therapy for yourself or your kids is a wise investment.

Mariah Morse has her bachelors in Biblical Counseling from Calvary University and her master’s in Social Work from UMKC. Mariah also has certification in Play Therapy and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sand Tray, and attachment-based therapy.
