What To Expect On Your First Visit

Psychologist / Counselor

During the first session your therapist will conduct a thorough assessment of your history. The goal of this interview will be to fully understand your concerns and begin developing a treatment plan. You should expect this assessment to last approximately 40 minutes. At this time treatment options will be reviewed and psychological testing will be discussed, if necessary.

Following conducting the assessment your therapist will explain to you how they work and give you ample time to ask questions to make sure you are comfortable with moving forward. The number of sessions required to address your concerns will be highly dependent on individual needs. Expect to attend therapy on a weekly basis until your concerns have been adequately addressed. At that point therapy typically becomes less frequent and the focus moves to maintenance.

Chiropractor

Our goal is to help you feel great – functioning at 100%, 100% of the time. The first visit will take approximately 45 minutes and is designed to find out what the problem is and what would be the best course of action to get you well.  Before any treatment is given, our chiropractors will perform a thorough consultation and health history, and a complete examination, which may include orthopedic and neurologic testing, range of motion tests, palpation of the spine and joints, a postural analysis, and, if necessary, x-rays.

Following the exam and consultation, you will schedule a time to come back for a report of findings. All of your exam findings, and any x-rays that were taken, will be correlated to determine a specific treatment plan for your condition and needs.

2nd Visit-Report of Findings

The second visit is designed to explain what your condition is, your treatment options, what results to expect, the amount of time needed to treat the condition, and your financial options. It is generally suggested that you bring a loved one or a friend to this visit as a second set of eyes and ears to help you in your home care recommendations.

Our chiropractor will explain your findings and recommendations specific to you and your condition, including going over any X-rays to point out significant findings. You will have plenty of time to ask questions regarding our commitment to your health. After the report of findings, your treatment can begin immediately.

Our Financial Policy

We believe that a clear definition of our financial procedures will allow you to concentrate on the most important issue: regaining and maintaining a state of wellness. We are happy to answer any questions regarding our procedures, payments, your accounts, or insurance coverage.

Since we believe the wellness needs of those we serve are paramount, we strive to provide quality care for fair and reasonable fees. All services are to be paid, in-full as services are provided. Properly documented personal injury and worker’s compensation cases are exemptions to these arrangements, and are not required to pay at this time if appropriate forms are signed.

Our office prides itself on explaining costs in advance of treatment, including any benefits your insurance may provide. We also design multiple payment options (including monthly payment plans), if the services may be a financial burden for you.

We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Care Credit.
